No Bachelor's Degree, How to Apply for a Chinese Work Visa?

Applying for a work visa in China can be challenging, especially if you don’t have a bachelor’s degree.
However, it’s not impossible. There are several pathways you can explore to obtain a work visa in China, even without a traditional undergraduate degree.
01
Possess a Professional Qualification Certificate
If you hold an internationally recognized professional qualification certificate (such as an International Certified Public Accountant), or if you are a highly skilled talent in great demand (such as a foreign language instructor), you may apply for a Type B work visa.
02
Secure a High-Salary Job

If your average monthly salary reaches 6 times the local average salary, you qualify for a Type A work visa, which is valid for up to five years.

If it reaches 4 times the local average, you are eligible for a Type B work visa.

03
Score Above 60 Points in the Foreign Talent Evaluation System
China has a dedicated evaluation system for foreigners that assigns points based on factors such as salary, education, and work experience.
Scoring above 85 points grants you eligibility for a Type A work visa. A score between 60 and 85 points qualifies you for a Type B work visa.
