1. No New Permit Needed for Intra-Group Transfers
Foreign nationals transferring within a group in Guangdong Province do not need to reapply for a work permit.
2. Type-B Work Permit for Principal Investors
Principal investors who have invested at least 4 million RMB (paid-in) in Guangzhou can apply for a Type B work permit.
3. Type-B Work Permit for Top University Graduates
Foreign graduates with a master’s degree or higher in in science, technology engineering, or mathematics from world-class or domestic double-first-class universities can apply for a Type B work permit within one year of graduation.
