I’ve got a Chinese visa, but why can’t I enter Hong Kong? Why?
Hong Kong, even though it’s part of China, has its own visa rules. So, even with a Chinese visa, you’ll need a separate one for Hong Kong.
You can apply at your nearest Chinese embassy. It usually takes about 4 weeks.
